THE BASICS OF SILVERSMITHING CLASS ~ 1

Join Gary as he guides you through all the processes of creating a Sterling Silver Ring. Practice soldering, texturing, embellishing and setting a stone in this 3 hour workshop. You will take your finished piece home with you today! Limited to 2 students per session.

Some dates will be offered through Community Education of the Black Hills.

1-2 students per class. All materials are provided. Workshop is from 11am - 2pm

Ages 16 & up are encouraged, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also attending the workshop, thank you.

Cost is $200.00 per person

GOING BEYOND THE BASICS ~ SILVERSMITHING LEVEL 2

Take your Silver Jewelry creating journey to the next level with this 4 hour private workshop! This is a one-on-one session where the finished piece will be a beautiful pendant. Going one step further than the basics class, you will shape and solder your own bezel to fit a stone you may choose from our private stash (or bring your own!) and of course, you'll be practicing all the things you experienced in the Basics of Silversmithing!

*Must have already taken The Basics of Silversmithing*

METALSMITHING WEEKEND! A 2-DAY INTENSIVE WORKSHOP

Experience an immersive weekend of designing & creating Silver & Stone Jewelry with Gary Tripp here in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota! Gary & Nancy have enjoyed over 20 years in this field, creating & teaching, and are happy to share wisdom & insights with you! Be prepared for 12 hours together balancing fun, work and learning to create several pieces of beautiful Jewelry! You'll start Saturday morning at 10am, design & finish a sterling silver ring, then take a little break for lunch at one of our local eateries & return refreshed for your afternoon session! Sunday you'll be back at the bench by 10am & by 5pm you will leave with a full suite that includes: a pair of earrings, a pendant, a cuff bracelet and a ring!

Plus you'll have had us all to yourselves for 2 days to get your questions answered & to hopefully inspire you as you go forth into the wild!
